"My best works in ink are my reference to Asian art," said Vitkovsky. He will be selling his own paintings, inks, pastels, and pencil/charcoal drawings. He was the first place prizewinner at the Boston Copley Association of Artists in 1992. Vitkovsky also receieved the Gold Medal in Sweden in 1995 at the international Art Competition "Art Addiction." Since 1996, he has sold his work continuously in major San Francisco galleries. This non-profit institution is one of the nation's oldest and most prominent acupuncture colleges. Since 1980, the college has provided affordable, quality health care to the public and trained professionals in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. ACTCM has been the recipient of many awards for its curriculum, faculty and clinic, and has been voted "Best of the Bay" by both the San Francisco Weekly and the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Director of Communications Rebecca Wilkowski said on the day of the fair ACTCM will be offering free massage and acupuncture to the public so they may experience the health benefits of Chinese medicine. They will also be passing out coupons for free acupuncture treatments in their low cost community health clinic in Potrero Hill. A neighborhood business, providing real estate and mortgage services, they have recently moved to Irving St. Before their move, they have been in business for more than 15 years at Taravel St. in the Sunset District. "We are glad that we can participate in the upcoming fair," said Sam Chong. City College of San Francisco serves over 100,000 students annually and has nine campuses throughout The City. The institution provides free English-as-a-Second Language classes to nearly 20,000 adults during both days and evenings. Dean Gary Tom said they are participating in the fair in order to publicize free ESL classes available in San Francisco and especially those in the Sunset and Richmond Districts.
