The annual Asian Heritage Street Celebration could not take place without the help and support of the community. We welcome the participation of all. Here are some ways you can get involved in San Francisco's biggest Asian Pacific American Heritage month event.
Have a Booth
The fair is a great opportunity for merchants and vendors to sell and showcase their arts and crafts, food and drinks, and/or other goodies. Non-profit and community organizations are also welcome as well as corporate businesses. Local Irving St. merchants are especially encouraged to participate.
Download the application at www.asianweek.com/AHSC_Booth _Application.pdf
The deadline for food vendors is April 23 and April 30 for all others.
Entertain the Audience
Last year's fair program featured a wide array of talent and performances. Musical guests such as the Native Elements, Francis Wong Experience, Goh Nakamura, and Sunday Groove took the stage, while the San Francisco Taiko and White Crane Lion Dance charmed the crowd.
Those interested in becoming an entertainer at the celebration should submit their background information to Christine Padilla, Program Director, at cvpadilla@gmail.com .
Become a Sponsor
This year Comcast and California Pacific Medical Center have already signed on as presenting co-sponsors. Other sponsors include GlaxoSmithKline, VERB, HSBC, Sterling Bank and Trust, Southwest.com, Wells Fargo, and Kaiser Permanente. As a sponsor your company's logo will be featured in promotional items for our fair.
The deadline to become a sponsor is April 15. For sponsorship information contact Joyce Aldana at (415) 441-5239 or joyce@baycrossings.com .
