A Project of the AsianWeek Foundation

Each year, the Asian Heritage Street Celebration gathers together the many and diverse elements of the Asian American community. We celebrate our differences and all that we share in common. It is the assemblage of the Asian Pacific American identity ‚ a community which has the nationís highest rates of English literacy in some areas, and yet finds a sense of identity from Asian heritage.

As part of our mission, the Asian Heritage Street Celebration distributes funds that are specifically raised, or remaining to charitable organizations that are contributing to and developing the Asian Pacific American identity.
