Volunteer
This year’s Asian Heritage Street Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 16 in the Civic-Center/Little-Saigon area of San Francisco, on Larkin Street, between Grove and Ellis Streets. The AsianWeek Foundation is currently looking for a large number of volunteers to help in the weeks leading up to the fair and on the day of.
LEADING UP TO THE FAIR
Those interested in helping with publicity – distributing flyers and postcards, graphics, recruiting participants for the Faces of Asia cultural procession, San Francisco Unified School District Awards and Raffle Program, and other tasks, may contact Angela Pang, apang@asianweek.com, (415) 321-5894.
DAY OF HELP
Help for all shifts and assignments on May 16, including:
- Information Booth
- Raffle Ticket and T-shirt Sales
- Barricade Monitor
- Safety Monitors
- Stagehands
- Set up
- Clean up/take down
